Santa Barbara has always been my home. How can you not be in absolute gratitude every day for the beauty and diversity? "Viva La Fiesta" was painted during the annual Santa Barbara Fiesta, where we celebrate the diverse cultures and roots of the area. So often, I paint the world's diversity from my travels, but we can turn the traveler's eye to our own communities. I encourage all artists to look for the global villages and inspiring traditions in their own backyards. Oil on linen.
