This plant series was born from the environment in which I live and paint, in the middle of nature, more precisely in the middle of the Cévennes National Park (Lozère - France).
I paint instinctively, with a knife, I let the colors impose themselves. I put a lot of material (oil paint) on my canvases to create relief.
Impasto expresses the figurative erasure of a dense nature to leave room for perception and an emotional and intimate language.
