Painting Variability is part of a bigger concept in my work.
In my art practice I use term of the area as a defined surface, appointed space of activity. The starting point is a blank sheet of paper – the surface ordered through a grid, a line or separated area.
I introduce issues from the theory of new music into the field of visual arts. My work is based on practices of contemporary composers, what is the subject of my research and interests. I mainly refer to the processes and methods of composing. I work with concepts of repetition, collage, module, enumeration, combinatorics, dependency, affiliation, relationality.
Interested in convergences in the process of composing music and image. Assuming that visuality is first of all arranging in space, while music – in time – is interested in examples where space directly relates to time and inversely.
