Urban Night Scene in mixed abstract and realistic styles by using oil paints, palette knife, brushes and other tools. There are not so many cars, people prefer to have a little walk and to see the shop windows, as the rain started to wet the streets and to reflect the lights on the roads. Buildings dissolve somewhere in the distance, some lights are still on meaning that somebody is still working, or just arrived home...
I am always so fascinated to observe the city life, I grew up in a small countryside not far from the capital of my home country Latvia and every time we went to the city I was so absorbed by my daydreaming, watching the city lights, squinting my eyes to see the reflections and to blur the objects for more beautiful view. When I grew up I had a possibility to live in the center of Milan for some years and even if tired, I loved to observe the city life by night, windows, cars, people, everything was so special for me. I used to walk a lot when come back from the office and was so happy to live in a big city. I miss it very much now as I am back to my countryside.
