The work depicts a man holding a woman by the neck and it is made by a combination of monotype and drawing with graphite. Exploiting this technique the tension of the limbs and a sense of motion are visible in the tears created by the painted graphite. A creation of motion that well aligns with the violence of the act drawn. The work wants to denounce the violence against women, often unseen or unrecognized and yet, deep-rooted in our societies.
