This is my latest artwork from the Sicilian collection. Sicily is a brilliant mix of old & new, traditional and unexpected, therefore I have tried to revive the traditional majolica patterns and add a new element – gold to stress the treasures of this beautiful land. I am proud to be Sicilian, even though the island is associated and recognized as a “Mafia territory”. I have started a collaboration with an organization called “ADDIOPIZZO”, who fights against mafia protection/extortion money.
