The modular polyptych has been divided into two works because of its size. The first photo shows the polyptych without overlaps, while the second one shows the proposed installation and the third one shows the part of the polyptych considered as a work.
This work follows from my poetic intentions quite literally and is the peak of the works that precede it. The portfolio and its statement will manage to fully give meaning to it: www.urielschmidtellez.weebly.com.
Instead, not the modular aspect, but the possibility to really modulate the work, is a new way to affirm the rhythm as something static in my work. As it often happens in my artistic practice, I try to give a specific sensation by eliminating the opposite one through a logic process.
It is in fact a painting that can be modulated, and not a painting in motion.
On the one hand, these tactics are intended to lead to sensations that are not perceived because they are obvious or unknown, while on the other hand they allow a gap to be created, and thus a rhetorical form.
