This work is like a space-absorbing cone. The geometric spatial order is constantly plundered by interruptions of image and painting. And although the perspectival suction is strong, it has no hierarchical value within the image.
This calculated subversion of the perspective convention, i.e. not freedom from it, is intended to make the audience look at the complex hierarchy between material and film thicknesses, as well as the relative ratios of tone and colour with which they are associated. This painting also emphasizes the workmanship of my work, and the importance of an ephemeral method that is not perfect (an aspect of my work that is not obvious at first glance). Citing a textual attachment to the work Painting consideration no. 1 ( portfolio page 16): ''We believe, however, that there is a possibility, an expedient that is able to preserve the pictorial fact through the passage of time and the agglomerations of culture.
