Since 2010 my Artwork has been Assemblage using Puppet Making Materials in Reliquary style and I wanted to just paint again using bright colours and some thick paint. I read, by the time of Alexander the Great the Egyptians had been practicing what we call Art for over 3,500 years. They though had no name for it. They simply incorporated it into every aspect of their lives including their beliefs and fantasies to which it gave form and permanence. The perspective of that compared to the timeline of Modern or Contemporary Art? So I painted a Pyramid and tried to blend that thought with Reliquary and Abstract Art incorporating a sense wonder and isolation. Eerie and unearthly I titled it; Unsettling isn't it.
