This painting was carried out over a long period. What was first an image of a woman walking on the beach with the sea and the sky as a background (something quite classic), turned into a kind of ghost, the residual of a moment.
The White veil covering the whole image gives a spectral aspect to the character, a diffuse and fragile presence. It is a reflection about Time wich passes, is sometimes suspended and resumes its slow march to gradually change or erase the memories, revealing the impermanence of the image.
