This painting is inspired by my favorite painter Gustave CAILLEBOTTE, it was called "rue de Paris temps de pluie", the work was painted in 1877 and I wanted to give it a touch of modernity without breaking too much on the lines that I I particularly like it. The perspective, the atmosphere, the depth, the light… everything catches the eye
However, I want to zoom in on the couple in the foreground, they clearly stand out from the scene, sheltered under their umbrella, nothing can reach them. There is a lot of love and complicity in this scene. It seems that they are untouchable and alone in the world in this immense capital, they wander at the foot of the Hausmanian buildings and perfectly embody Parisian life.this artwork is one of my collection NEO 18/19
