“If the world were clear, art would not exist” - Albert Camus - The Myth of Sisyphus
The work forms part of an investigation into the indeterminate nature of 'ways of seeing' and 'ways of being'. This is reflected by considering the ambiguous ‘grey area’ between presence and absence through capturing fleeting moments of a world in constant flux. Moments in time that suggest a space, rather than define a space, one that exists between what is seen and unseen, a zone of indiscernablity.
