TuFtuPa is contemporary synesthetic experimentation of rhythmic signs and visual sound. With this work, called Audio Visual Release 2022, Notari publishes his first downloadable songs, each corresponding to a painting created. The impromptu creation is musical and pictorial at the same time. The composition is freedom of expression.
The process is simple and goes through the source of the present moment and improvisation. With oil pastels, the sound is recorded and looped by a microphone. Then manipulated through audio software to create the composition. In the same way, the first traces made with pastels, are later distorted, illuminated, and set in a surrealistic landscape.
