This is one of my recent works based on my research in abstract expressionism, and my long experience with landscapes. From this intersection "metalandascapes" are the result. They are not landscapes, but they are about landscapes. They are also about the point where figuration and abstraction touch.
The big surfaces where color given with spatola punctuates rhythms between often complementary colors, creates the space where the eye gets captured by this pulsant "alive" texture. Is also based on the emotion that color can generate.
