This painting was inspired by a feeling of imprisonment that the artist felt during the first lockdown. During the lockdown, we saw nature regain its rights! As if the lockdown made the powerful realise that they were a small particle of this world. While humans are in lockdown, wild animals allowed themselves to frolic. All over the world animals were worried and wanted to know what was going on. Human beings become in their place, lock up in their homes like caged animals. Curious about the absence of cruelty inflicted on them by men, animals rejoiced in their freedom.
