" Tradition 1". The painting is rendered in Acrylic on canvas. It mirrors on the importance of preserving the rich culture heritage and tradition of Africa with emphasis on Igbo culture in Nigeria. The painting shows an old woman who is very glad and elated seeing her grand daughter maintaining the culture she bequeathed to her. I used my style of the use of cube like colors to create an effect of mosaic on the canvas.
