Where did you last see and hear such a striking, immediate "scream"? At Werner Tübke, at A.R. Penck maybe, with Munch, of course, with Dix and Grosz. At the same time, the shape of the triptych brings this work, created in 2017-18 by the Swiss artist, close to biblical-emblematic church painting of the late Middle Ages.
