The Resting Place depicts the need to switch off from everyone & everything. Sometimes we just need to pause & reboot to reflect & revive ourselves. we all have our own happy places as it were; usually these are simple places that bring us back to a sense of peace & joy. For me, there is nothing more relaxing than drifting away, surrounded by the beautiful colours & sounds of nature. I want viewers of my piece here to feel the bright colours & a strong yet subdued energy within this.
