The big events always have happened with a
burst of strong emotion.these events are the nodes of our life which make up
the shape of our life.
When these emotions are refined to a new
level and can reach the resonance of spirits,they are just like some monuments
standing in our life.The events have been refined and solidified by the
resonance of spirits, and they are reflected as different shapes in different
eyes.
The emotions of people aren’t always
identical but the existence of the resonances is always there.My work The
Monument series are trying to catch this power of pure spirits.
The optical centre of every painting of The
Monument series is a featureless face,trying to express the commonness of these
spirits.The power of spirits which I attempt to deliver isn’t individual representation, but universal
truth.Everyone can get their emotions from these different expressions and
colors,so that they can build their own shape of life.The other areas of
painting used solid blocks of color to exert the power of color.
