"The Legend of Falanto"

The Legend of Falanto is the founding myth of Taranto.
 Falanto left Sparta with the Partens in search of a place where to build a new Sparta.The Oracle told him that he would find the place when: “It starts to rain from the clear sky!”. He thought that something like that would never happen. After years of research he stopped in south of Italy and from despair fall asleep in his wife’s hug. She started to cry, the tears fall on the Falanto's face. It was raining from the clear sky!
