The Lady and the Unicorn

You go back in time as if through the painting as a window or connect your own emotional feelings to a wistful allegory of mystical beliefs, a journey through childhood, love or challenging times, or simply a love of nature with its many metaphors and memories. The great sea of the collective unconscious within us all can bring a feeling of mystery and fulfilment.  The hero within can shine forth, or the fair maiden be given a special place to be honoured, a mythical animal come to help us, and the sun rise up with power and energy to enliven our day, without fail. So many scenes echo to the voice of nature. The blue Lady and the Unicorn is a special vision of feminine wisdom: a young woman sets off on a path she has trodden before but not at night. The full moon signifies her coming into her womanly power, and the hill rises up, this time she leaves her home alone going into the wilds; up hill and her intuition will light the way forward. she can return home at any time, but an adventure calls! The Unicorn comes to meet her; she knows him from her childhood, he is strong enough to protect her on her quest. The deep blue of mystery and wisdom surrounds them and pulls them forward.
