I get the inspiration from a book called "Lilith, the cursed Eve" by Stéphanie Del Regno. In this book, the author questions the possible existence of two Eve. One was created with Adam, but she was not what they expected, she had a strong personality so she became Lilith. And the second one, the one we always talk about from the body part of Adam, who eats the first bite of one apple.
The original sin is an interesting story where we accuse the woman to be the culprit of the hard life of humanity. But in fact, Adam also ate an apple too. Everyone is responsible for their actions. She is not the only one to give in to temptation. They both did.
This story inspired me to represent the two Eve eating the fruit of knowledge. Here is something I remember learning about the original sin when I was a child. Eve was responsible for the situation of humanity. And she is a woman. So it is normal that being a woman is suffering. As a woman, we have to hide who we are, avoid pain, adapt and never show off because we are the reason for the world´s misfortune. Of course, this is just my interpretation, but when I was a child this is what I learned. And now in my adult life, I have the necessary step back. But we have to realize what it can do with a little girl´s head. This is maybe why I thought for a very long time I was responsible for men´s behavior and look move.
