"The dream of Starowieyski - Find V Graces ", oil on canvas, 80 x 100 cm, 2024
One night I dreamed that together with Franiszek Starowieyski we paint paintings in his art studio. In the works of Starowieyski, the real world connects with the creations of its "unrestrained" imagination. We smoked, drank, conducting passionate conversations about drawing, painting and even current trends in contemporary art. When I woke up, I decided to immediately pour visions from my own sleep on the canvas.
The art work presents a specific structure of corporeality that intertwine with the shimmering bile between them, reminiscent of warm sunlight. The orange color was used here fully consciously, because it is known for its stimulating influence on the human mind. Red and rose symbolize love, passion and desire. The aim of the picture is to stimulate the viewer of creative thinking, and thus finding five hidden silhouettes of women in the painting.
