These spheres are inspired by the drawings made by Leonardo Da Vinci for Luca Pizzioli's book "The Divine Proportion" and constitute a modern reinterpretation of Platonism as universal rules of proportion lead to the symbol of absolute perfection : the sphere. These proportions are thus the bridge between the material world and the absolute perfection of the platonic world of ideas. From the disorder emerges an order dictated by the divine proportions of the universe.
This work shows how mathematics, commonly dubbed "The Language of the Universe," and artistic expression help man in his quest to understand these divine rules and proportions. Could they also help us decipher the path to divine perfection within the chaos of the modern world?
