Lo stupore mi abbracciò, insieme all'inquietudine.
The Deer
A shock, the eyes of a deer,
An entrance to his soul, anxious and curious.
I looked into it and became a deer.
My soul, his soul, one and the same spirit
Amazement embraced me, unease at the same time.
Can I handle this, so much grandeur.
I looked up, I was the trees, the leaves, the clouds.
I rustled like a leaf in the wind, an endless swell.
I was not alone. I was everything.
Later in a disco tent, a wall of sound,
Johnie the Selfkikker. His poem became elusive,
Images flew, my sight turned color, everything turned color,
Moving images that danced around.
A parallel world, unknown and unexplored.
Het
Hert
Een
schok, de ogen van een hert,
Een
toegang tot zijn ziel, angstig en nieuwsgierig.
Ik
keek erin en werd een hert.
Mijn
ziel, zijn ziel, één en dezelfde geest.
Verbazing
omarmde me, tegelijkertijd onbehagen.
Johnie
de Selfkikker. Zijn gedicht werd ongrijpbaar,
Beelden
vervlogen, mijn zicht werd kleur, alles werd kleur,
Bewegende
beelden die ronddansten.
Een
parallelle wereld, onbekend en onverkend.
