The painting was inspired by my love of travelling. I am an Indian by nationality and have been to numerous nations across the world. I find a strange similarity amongst the vibe of cities far and near. Such is the case with my visit to Morocco, the city of Chefchaouen is strikingly similar in many ways to the city of Jodhpur in India. Both cities are the blue cities however one of them i.e. Chefchaouen is predominantly practices Islam while Jodhpur practices Hinduism. Inspite of being different in beliefs , the lives of people and the essence is similar. That is what I have tried to depict in this. The references have been googled photos.
