This piece reflects the need to be heard. The subject is attempting to escape the bubble wrap that seems to be suffocating, leaving them muted. This is an ironic representation of how it feels to communicate. Everything I say feels superficial because of how careful I have to be, practically rushing my words to stay compelling. Similar to the purpose bubble wrap holds, it protects delicate objects and my fear of not being heard.
