While creating this piece, I wanted to connect with the sea and the sun, experience the freedom children feel, to dive in , then dry under the dazzling sun and just enjoy that blissful moment. Things that were taken for granted we came to a point where we realise that they are not and little things of happiness having been deprived of us ,I felt the urge to create something powerful and beautiful at the same time that will only make me and anyone
else connect with these beautiful memories, even create new ones just by looking at this piece. I wanted to bring joy and happiness and positivity. This is a painting that is multi layered and the viewer can see through each layer while adding a new element after each layer. In one of its layers I have added 24K gold leaf to emphasize the importance of the sun and hence our human need to enjoy it, feel it.
