The dramatic condition of a modern woman embedded in technocratic realities?
The emphasis here is on the problem of frequent contemporary objectification of a woman, a kind of permanent attack on her individuality. The dismemberment of the bodies shows here the atomization of both her and the male's inclination to treat women instrumentally and objectively. The lack of the presented face illustrates the disindividualization and oppression of the woman's compassionate personality. It is about a woman as such - universal, potentially any, without any indication of nationality or political or religious affiliation. It is a kind of "visual protest" of a universal nature.
In purely painterly terms, the motive here is the obvious contrast of the juxtaposition of a slippery body and the dull brown matter of water - but a pinch of hope - as an eternal symbol of the spirit. Another painter's problem is also posed here: wet and dry, which can be understood here as saturation with liquid or as "soaking" with the decay of the hierarchy of values of the modern or perhaps eternal world, ie this is how it is now and it may have always been so.
