This is a finalist work of the Arte Laguna Prize, 18th edition.
One of my main themes is the archival of my memories: documents, photos and objects; the past; childhood; filiation. The passing time represents a loss that I try to fill by doing a stubborn work of archiving in paintings and digital processing, often in the context of my project The way we were. This study of a closed can is a study of an object that remains from my childhood. After many decades, this can remains closed. As if it protects my memories from the real world.
