The work stems from a reflection on time and how its perception has profoundly changed since the quarantine in March. The minutes, the hours, the days and, for some, even the months have all become the same, marking the days in completely new ways compared to the pre-covid-19 period.
The girl rushes at a clock that shows a messed up time, inviting us to stay strong, to draw from this difficult period the necessary strength (the beam of light that comes out of her sleeve) to give new value and meaning to our life and our habits, perhaps even turning to our hidden abilities. There seems to be no doubt about the success of this gesture: the hand is ready to grasp the hands, the light envelops the clock as if to create a reparative vortex, the girl's gaze is full of energy and impetus. She is the strategist of time. We can all be.
Behind this main reading there is also a reflection on the fact that history goes on and society is changing with it (the past is symbolized by Roman numerals, the future is the beam of light, the present is us who act).
