Spirit Woman is a metaphorical self portrait I created upon emerging from a difficult relationship. It is symbolic of strength, independence, power and control over your life. The concentrated gaze and the flaming hair are all signs of focus and bold intentions. Completed in a combination of naive, ethnic and contemporary genre using mostly a palette knife.
