The painting is part of a series of works I have been developing since 2022, consisting of pictorial surveys of abandoned buildings in the Milan area. "Sospeso" is inspired by the San Cristoforo station designed by architect Aldo Rossi. The rigid geometries blend with blurred parts, echoing the theme of abandonment and the unfinished.
