This work illustrates a feeling of absolute loneliness, total
abandonment to the point of becoming invisible, of questioning our
own existence.
It's an order for the « Social Gravity »
series, exhibited in October 2021 at the Palais des Congrès de
Versailles.
« Social Gravity » series :
Evolving in a world made of dictates, mankind is trapped in
a voracious monotony.
Deceieved by the illusion of free will, he gets himself dragged in a
meaningless race.
In a society where the cult of perfection and
profitability reigns, where blind obedience is required.
These paintings depicts a wake up call. The melancholic awakening of
mankind, realizing the hollowness of its existence.
It's the
reflection of a lost generation desperaltely looking for a way out.
In a quest for its inner self, of a tangible reason to live.
