This work is a self portrait. It come from my fears and suffering. But suffering is common to all and has a thousand faces, a thousand shades, like a charcoal shading.
The work is a part of a series of works which have the same teme, violence against woman.
Some of the works are photograph , but this one is a charcoal drawing.
A gaze lost in the void, a hand covering a mouth, almost to suffocate a scream, and the face and the hands covered with blood, with bitter tears.
Black, as black as is the most profound darkness we have inside ourselves , where nobody can find us and come to save us.
