The work is part of a cycle (Apocalypse Now) in which the structure of a natural history museum of the future is hypothesized. Rodents have always accompanied human life and perhaps preceded it. In an environment now contaminated by waste and anthropogenic waste, future fossils included in toxic materials such as asbestos can be hypothesized. The work consists of an asbestos board with a realistically painted mouse fossil from about 60,000 years ago.
