The size of this seven piece polyptych (170 cm wide) includes a 7 cm space between them. The individual canvasses measure 36 x 18 cm, except for the central one that measures 36 x 36 cm. I did these portraits of Renata exploring an idea I intend to pursue. The 'serial portrait' that takes a shot at facets of a complex personality, instead of the tradition of the gently placed & flattered portrait subject.
