There are two figures, one inside the other.
The first, made of graphite pencil, as if of stone, is broken into 3 parts and the other, made with ink, seems to pop out of the fragments.
The old pocket clock shows the time. It is just past three.
The minute hand heads to +3 minutes, with the hour hand clearly "pinned" at 3.
A flash like an explosion illuminates the surrounding area making the shadows disappear, and so does the darkness.
On the right, I have placed 3 waveforms as if from cardiograms. The midline is dead, completely straight without any pulse. Totally flat. The above and below waveforms show normal sinus rhythm.
