The diffraction series explores the interaction of color and the sensations of depth and movement. A geometric pattern of stripes, fractured with a rhythm of diagonal cuts, is created using 3D modeling software. Colors are then translated to canvas with the aid of masking tape. Committed to the effects of abstraction, the work is suggestive of a teleidoscopic diffraction of light.
