Purnulu Sketch depicts the endless cacophony of colour shimmering into the
distance to create an impression of the The beehive-shaped towers that are the
Bungle Bungles .The Bugles are made up conglomerates of pebbles and boulders
and cemented together fine sand). These natural forms were deposited into the
Red Basin 375 to 350 million years ago, when active faults were altering the landscape,
wind from the Tanimi Desert and rainfall shaped the domes over . Ironically it

a mountain as the dichotomy of combining aspects of my native Australia and my
European heritage reveal themselves in my imagery
