The ambiguity of shapes and colours is also the theme of this painting. Which association gains the upper hand? Vase, keyhole, flowerpot, geometric patterns, floral shapes, complementary contrasts, flowing colours? This painting was created in a processual way. I start many of my paintings as drip paintings. Afterwards I follow my own ideas and associations that result from the observation. To reduce the color chaos, I covered large areas with gray and black again. The colored areas that stand out are negative areas. These geometric structures correspond with the floral internal structures and the contrasting colours.
