Polyptychus._first picture is painted on pine plywood board
with oil pastels.
It corresponds to the first drawing of a polyptych
consisting of 5 boards of the same size (31x31 cm) for a total size of 31x155
cm.
And ideally inspired by altarpieces, in that, as was the
case in the 14th century, the design of the work consists of 5 separate
elements (5 plates) that will appear linked together in the exhibition display.
The elements depicted are symbols that are equally part of
both the artist's personal unconscious and a larger collective. The reference
to altarpieces is thus not the only element that suggests a certain sacredness
of this representation. In fact, the work in its deeper meaning stems from the
need to want to believe in a more animistic and spiritual value system in
which, unlike certain scientific and anthropocentric attitudes, the variables
of the unknown are still respected and contemplated.

Polyptychus._first picture è dipinto su tavola di
multistrato fenolico di Pino con pastelli ad olio.
Corrisponde al primo disegno di un polittico formato da 5
tavole della stessa dimensione (31x31 cm) per una dimensione totale di 31x155
cm.
E idealmente ispirato alle pale d'altare, in quanto, come
avveniva nel trecento, il progetto dell'opera è costituito da 5 elementi
distinti (5 tavole) che appariranno collegati assieme nel display di
mostra.
Gli elementi raffigurati sono simboli che fanno parte in
egual misura sia dell'inconscio personale dell'artista che di una collettività
più ampia. Il rimando alle pale di altare non è quindi il solo elemento che
suggerisce una certa sacralità di questa rappresentazione. L'opera infatti nel
suo significato più profondo nasce dall'esigenza di voler credere ad un sistema
di valori più animistico e spirituale in cui, a differenza di certi
atteggiamenti scientifici e antropocentrici, le variabili dell'ignoto sono
ancora rispettate e contemplate.
