"Pussy"
is an american slang used to offend someone in terms of vigor, bringing the
discussion to a sexual/macho metaphor.
In this work I have interpreted this metaphor ironically,
transforming it in a sentimental and vital sphere where this word animates and
invigorates the arid and complex sphere of "social feelings".
“Pussy” represents a soft and candy balloon, that sits in contrast with the
concrete slab and the verbiage that defines socially the love.
The corporal and carnal side of the metaphor is surrounded and overlaid to all
the black wordings that reflect the nowadays social vocabulary.
The pink graffiti brings
softness on an entanglement of concepts to whom we are underlay daily.
It represents the sentimental humanity, love and relations, that
are abstract concepts nearly engraved by a chisel.
This human fragile side,
that we constantly try to hide, is one of the things we should accept and admit
to ourselves and to the social context we belong.
