Urbanism has long been a field for experimentation and research for me. I work with form and space, studying material and creating three-dimensional installations from my paintings. Through the urban landscape, I reveal opinions about complex social processes.
In 2018, moving to the capital of Austria prompted me to explore cultural identity and collective experience, which I visualize through images of Vienna and St. Petersburg, because cities invariably bear the imprint of the people living in them and, like people, they engage in dialogue.
