Phoenix Rising

Out of the ashes we are born anew. The phoenix is a legendary creature depicted in various cultures around the world as a symbol of renewal and transformation. A majestic bird that dies in a blaze of fire to become reborn from the ashes. In the Greek classics the alchemical triangle symbol of fire represents power and is considered masculine; Phoenix Rising challenges this notion with a role reversal, here the woman wields the fire, changing the narrative and deconstructing the patriarchal system.
