Buildings have always accompanied humanity and investigating their expressive language becomes a need that I do not want to give up. Art is always architecture understood as a constructive force. In the "Rome" series, inspired by the 150th anniversary of Rome as the Capital, my attention was focused on important buildings that have made the history of the Capital's architecture. Rereading the protagonists of the construction of "modern Rome" who with their projects have expressed identity characters such as humanism, historicism, visionary nature and a sense of design, combining tradition and innovation, seemed to me of great interest. The work "Palazzetto dello Sport" is a tribute to the engineering genius of Pier Luigi Nervi who, with his works, contributed in an incisive way to transform Rome into a modern city. The structure of the Palazzetto shows its intrinsic rationality by manifesting itself in perfect harmony with nature.
