"My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay of thay colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away."
(Percy Bysshe Shelley)

"Ozymandias" is inspired by Shelley's homonym poem. I was stunned by the idea of decay that's described there. How everything that is great and new today, everything that in our eyes appears huge, infallible, ethernal or important, is bound to pale compared to nature's true eternity, and is bound to return to sand.
