I have been looking into the concept of order and chaos as well as ying and yang and tried to find ways how to visualise these ideas in an abstract way. Our life is defined by regularities and structure, not only in the form of days and hours as well as seasons or age. The existing structures overlay and influence each other. Besides pregiven orders there are orders of our own (personal or human) choices like society, politics, religion/philosophy, family. These are much more complex and difficult to grasp and they keep on changing. The painting order is the way we can easily understand the world. However if we look at the bigger picture of what is going on it becomes more blurry and this clarity can fade away (as in my other painting in this series “fading”).
