Here you can see blue tones in various facets – a rush for the imagination.
Like a satellite image that lets you explore the world from above.
The view of an oceanographic scene. Water currents that the eye can follow, different shades of blue that nestle together or merge into each other.
I hope for a feeling of peace, freedom, harmony and boundlessness in the viewer - but also for the perception of the fragility of the world around us and for being touched by the beauty of nature.
THE ENDLESS ART OF FORMS
Organic forms that arise, interact and merge. Colors that change their viscosity and drying properties along physical and chemical processes. Exciting effects that manifest themselves on the canvas. - This is the diversity that feeds my creative work. I call it „The Art of Endless Forms“.
THE PAINTING PROCESS
I work with acrylic paints on a horizontal painting surface. Before I start, I conceive a color palette and roughly divide the surface into different fields of tension.
I manipulate the flow and drying behavior of the paints by enriching them with painting or binding agents or by thinning them. In the painting process, it is important to me that the liquids unfold freely. With specific applications of paint I react to their flowing movements. I follow my intuition and work towards the desired effects. Thus, striking color and shape progressions and a unique image composition are created.
SOURCES OF INSPIRATION
The effect of colors, the inherent life of liquids, the structures and repetitions of different materials and patterns: optical regularities and harmonies in my environment have always fascinated me and significantly influence my art. I am inspired by the particular in rocks, waters, plants and especially in aerial photographs.
