A stormy sea
wave, so much, so it forms a white foam, nice thick, which is so scary just to
see it from afar.
The
picture comes out as 16th in a series of paintings called TREDISMO, a technique
that I have experimented and innovated, inspired by paintings by artists that
use a lot of relief. At the end of 2018 I started experimenting with strong
reliefs on hard panel, and in the middle of the following year I made the first
three-dimensional painting on canvas. The first painting was made with a sponge
cube. Treated sponge is ideal for canvas effect, giving soft consistency and
texture to the piece. While looking at the cube I was thinking of a name, and
the word "cubism" came to mind - but I certainly couldn't use this
name. Cubist paintings are works in two dimensions, while this painting of mine
developed in three dimensions: here was born the name TREDISMO.
ONDA
Onda di mare arrabbiato, tanto, cosi
da forma una schiuma bianca, bella spessa, che fa tanta paura solo vederla da
lontano.
